The GSO’s Beethoven 9 Vocal Competition concludes in an afternoon of performances by the finalists with piano accompaniment. In this final round, vocalists compete to become a winner in one of four voice categories, and for the opportunity to perform as a featured soloist in the GSO’s May performances of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9.
Each finalist will perform the excerpts for their voice type from Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, along with a musical selection of their choosing. The winners will be announced at the conclusion of the performances.
