Vincent Rose is a Band Director at Lost Mountain Middle School in Kennesaw, Georgia. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Georgia State University, and a Master’s Degree in Euphonium Performance from the University of South Florida. The Lost Mountain Middle School Band Program has achieved high levels of success under Mr. Rose’s instruction, including earning consistent superior ratings at District 12 Large Group Performance Evaluations, being selected to perform at Georgia State University’s Music for All Southeastern Regional Concert Band Festival in 2024, Reinhardt University’s Middle School Honor Band Clinic in 2025, and the Georgia Music Educators Association In-service Conference in 2026.
Before arriving at Lost Mountain in 2022, Mr. Rose was a prominent freelancer in the metro Atlanta area, where he supplied sectional instruction at various middle and high schools. He established an extremely successful private lesson studio which produced outstanding results. Students under his instruction regularly placed into District Honor Band and the Georgia All-State Band. Most notably, Mr. Rose was the low brass instructor at the Westminster Schools in Atlanta and provided invaluable assistance to the program as a whole with his instruction and leadership. From 2018-2022, he served as a staff member of the Kennesaw State University Marching Owls, assisting in setting them up for long-term success in their beginning years as an organization. In the summer, Mr. Rose holds a head staff position at the International Euphonium and Tuba Festival, a yearly event at Emory University lead by world renowned Euphonium artist, Adam Frey. Vincent Rose is excited to be at Lost Mountain Middle School, a proud feeder of his alma mater, Harrison High School, and Hillgrove High School.
